Roger Wickes - Blender DVD/Video Compositing Tutorials - Training Videos Review



I always try to keep my eyes open for good Blender video tutorials, for the most part I am pretty good at keeping up to date with what is out there.

However...

I missed one excellent source of good quality videos on various topics concerning Blenders Video Sequence Editor, Node Editor and various other items. Roger Wickes (PapaSmurf), has a very good collection of Blender videos.

The rough running time is over 3 hours for all the videos.

It's true that there are many video tutorials on the web but the topics covered by Wickes in his videos tend to be the less well known stuff and this makes them very useful. They are slightly out of date for modern Blender versions, but on the whole they are still very useful.

You should also check out the wiki.blender.org as Roger has written some very good entries.

Very good videos, well worth the time.
